The “Reaper” is ready to continue hunting down trophies in 2026.
Ryan Gustin is set for his third season aboard the Cooney Motorsports No. 19R in pursuit of his first World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision championship.
The Marshalltown, IA native enters the year on the heels of one of the best seasons of his career in 2025. Gustin won seven times in a Late Model last year – five of them in World of Outlaws competition – including his first crown jewel at the USA Nationals, as well as a $50,000 payday in October at Boothill Speedway. Those results left him third in the final standings, a new career-best points finish with the Series.
Gustin’s 2026 campaign is already underway, as he’s one of several World of Outlaws regulars who made the trip to Central Arizona Raceway for the Wild West Shootout to turn laps ahead of DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 22-24). He opened the miniseries with a stout 18th-to-fourth charge on Saturday night and was running fourth in Sunday’s Feature before cutting a tire and driving back up to eighth.
Once Gustin makes his way to Volusia Speedway Park, he’ll be looking to open the 2026 World of Outlaws season in the same fashion as he did last year. He won the first night of action at the 2025 Sunshine Nationals after holding off Jonathan Davenport before adding two more top fives at Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals.
Gustin will begin his 2026 season with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision at Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 22-24) and Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 12-14), followed by the Swamp Cabbage 100 at Hendry County Motorsports Park (Friday-Saturday, Feb. 20-21). If you can’t make it to the track, stream every lap live on DIRTVision.
